You publish a single request for quotation: describe the product or service, the category, the location and how long it stays open. The platform automatically finds matching suppliers, and suppliers following that kind of request get notified. Every interested supplier sends you an offer on the request, and you negotiate with each of them in rounds, in parallel, until you pick the right offer.

An RFQ (request for quotation) is the request in which a company describes what it wants to buy, so that suppliers can send offers. On Markonex you create one from text, a voice note or a scanned document, and the AI assistant helps you write a clear description. Once published, the platform brings you the matching suppliers.

On Markonex you search suppliers by product or by name and filter by location and distance, category and rating, or you publish an RFQ and the platform brings you matching suppliers. Each company profile shows the ANAF verification based on its CUI and its public financial statements, and companies not verified with ANAF are clearly marked in the results.

Each company profile on Markonex shows the data retrieved from ANAF based on its CUI: legal name, CAEN code, trade register number, VAT and e-Invoice status, registered office, plus public financial statements (revenue, profit, average number of employees). Company status is re-checked with ANAF periodically, and after each completed agreement the companies can rate and review each other.

You see the active RFQs published by companies looking for products and services, ranked by how well they match what you sell, and you send them offers directly. You list your product catalogue, including through an Excel import, so buyers find you through product search, and you save follow filters to get notified when a matching RFQ appears.

The platform combines keyword search with semantic (AI) search, which understands the meaning of the request, not just the exact words. Results carry a match score that also takes into account company verification, ANAF verification, rating, distance, category and negotiation history.

You negotiate price and terms in structured rounds, directly with the other company, with messages and attached documents. When you reach an understanding, one party accepts the offer and the other confirms the agreement; then you choose whether the agreement needs a contract. The whole history stays in one place.

Negotiation, agreement and contract happen on the same platform, directly between manufacturer and buyer.

From a company profile, or from the page of a product in its catalogue, you press "Request price". The direct price request goes only to that company and is not published on the marketplace; the answer comes as an offer, which you then negotiate in rounds.

No. Markonex is a platform for buying and selling between companies. Public procurement by public authorities runs through the electronic public procurement system, under its own rules.

No. Markonex does not process payments and is not a party to contracts between companies. Payment and delivery are agreed directly between buyer and supplier, under their agreement. The exchange rate shown for price conversion is indicative.

Each party chooses whether the agreement is concluded with or without a contract. Without a contract, the agreement is completed immediately. With a contract, you attach an existing contract between the two companies or create a new one, generated from a template as a PDF or uploaded as a document, and the agreement is completed once both parties accept the contract.

30 days by default, or until the expiry date chosen when it was created. On expiry the request leaves the market automatically and any offers still active on it are closed. Offers that are not concluded also expire after 30 days.

Yes. Besides adding products one by one, you can import your catalogue in bulk from an Excel file, with description, price range, currency and categories.

Markonex is bilingual, in Romanian and English, both the interface and the AI assistance. You can translate content instantly between the two languages and work with partners in their preferred language.
