How to get price quotes from several suppliers at once
The simplest way to get price quotes from several suppliers is a single request for quotation published on a B2B platform. On Markonex you write it once, the platform automatically finds matching suppliers, and the offers arrive, are negotiated and compared in one place.
Step 1: write the request for quotation
You fill in the title, the description (at least 30 characters), the category, the location and how long it stays open, 30 days by default. The request can be typed, dictated or extracted from a scanned document, and the AI assistant helps you write a clear description. RO/EN translation is built in.
- Write the quantity, technical specifications and the delivery time you need, so the offers are comparable.
- Attach the relevant documents, for example a bill of quantities or a technical sheet.
Step 2: publish it and the platform finds matching suppliers
Once published, the RFQ is active immediately. Automatic matching combines keyword search with semantic search and ranks suppliers by a score that takes into account company verification, ANAF verification, rating, distance, category and negotiation history. Suppliers following that kind of request get an in-app, push or email notification.
Step 3: receive offers from several suppliers
Every interested supplier sends an offer on your RFQ, and all offers appear on the "Offers" page. If you already know whom you want a price from, you also send a direct price request to that company, from its profile or a product page, and in product search you compare up to 3 products side by side.
Step 4: negotiate in rounds with each supplier
You negotiate price and terms separately with each supplier, in structured rounds (up to 20), with messages and attached documents. The party that has to answer gets reminders, and an offer without completion expires after 30 days.
Step 5: confirm the agreement and, if needed, the contract
Acceptance takes two phases: one party accepts the offer and the other confirms the agreement. Then you choose with or without a contract; the contract is generated from a template (PDF) or uploaded and accepted by both parties. After the agreement, the companies can rate and review each other.
RFQ by email or on a platform: what changes
An RFQ sent by email only reaches the suppliers you already know, and comparing offers, checking companies and keeping the negotiation history are manual. On a B2B platform, the same request also reaches new, automatically matched, ANAF-verified suppliers, and the offers, messages and agreement stay in one place.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between an RFQ and a direct price request?
An RFQ is published on the marketplace and reaches every matching supplier, who can send you offers. A direct price request goes to a single company, from its profile or a product page, and is not published.
Can I get offers from suppliers who write in English?
Yes. The platform is bilingual, search works in Romanian and English, and content can be translated instantly between the two languages.
Publish your first RFQ
Registration happens directly on the platform in a few minutes, with company verification at ANAF by CUI.
